I took my mom to have dinner at Thunder Burger and Bar today, and honestly this place does not hold back. Top-notch dish items and service. The staff is very attentive and friendly, and the food is incredibly savory. Thunder Burger is a world-class establishment in every aspect, and is definitely enough reason just to visit Georgetown!

Went here for happy hour and it was great. They have indoor and outdoor seating . We sat inside but honestly it was warm and we wished we had sat outside. Our server was really nice. They have gluten free buns ( I didn’t have a burger) but our friend did and it looked amazing. We did order buffalo and dry rub wings and they were really good. They also have lots of beers ( including beer flights) and a full bar.

Great bar. Waitress was nice and friendly. Had an Estrella Jalisco was nice and cold on a sunny hot afternoon. But the star of the show was their burger! Medium temperature, and some small trimmings like mushrooms, lettuce, onion and tomato... loved every bite!

The Shakshouka was the best brunch food for the cold snap that came over DC that day, and the Espresso Martini was just perfection. I would definitely eat there again next time I'm in town.

Where do I begin? It’s the most delicious burger I have ever had! This place is a must to try if you are in Georgetown. It’s not only a great price but also has a best taste. Burgers are made with grass fed and no antibiotics added beef as the chief explained on the yelp page! I believe them because you can tell from the outcome! But the fries was not the best this time! But I am not going to take the start because burger was so delicious. It’s a must try to my opinion.

Treated myself to an impromptu dinner while in town. Seating was immediate, with a very friendly server who gave me good advice on how to cook my bison burger.
They've got sidewalk/outdoor seating available, which if the weather is right gives you a great opportunity to soak in Georgetown while you eat.

We were visiting friends in DC and after a long walking day we wanted to sit down somewhere cool for a couple of drinks. We picked an out side table and enjoyed the late afternoon in Georgetown. We were not really hungry, so we ordered few appetizers and my nice had a steak. Everything was very delicious including The espresso Martin and the old fashion. We couldn’t ask for a better choice. Miles was our server, he gave us a wonderful service, he was just delightful as our afternoon 🙂

Good was amazing. We shared 3 different apps, all delicious. All entrees were on point. Also has good vegetarian options.

I enjoyed my burger and the service here was great. We sat next to the fireplace and they turned it on and kept it going which was a nice service touch. The burger was great! I purchased the Buffalo Stomp and would get it again. I would come back here, but use a car service as parking is very difficult.

An absolutely amazing experience. I had the server ahmed who was very gracious kind and prompt. He asked me for more sauce, drinks and didn’t let my water cup be empty. I cannot stress enough how amazing the atmosphere here is.

Their Impossible Burger had me doing a double take and asking my waiter to verify that it was indeed plant-based! Service was great (the waiter spoke German) and the sweet potato fries, although a bit too browned, were delicious. The tea sucked—horribly, but everything else overcompensated for it!
Would highly recommend it! Ask for a seat in the back for a bit of distance from the throng.😎
